Lake Forest Park Subaru Repair

I brought my car in for the 60K-mile check and other work needed to be done, which doubled an already high bill. Kind of tough since my only prior experience was an oil change. I received a reasonable explanation for the repairs at the end of the day - which helped me feel more comfortable about the work that needed to be done. It takes time to build trust with a new customer - and a more thorough explanation at the time that I was told of the needed repairs would have been better.

Excelent service. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about Suabaru needs. I plan to keep my 2000 Outback a few more years and Suburb is helping me do that. Very easy to make appointments and a free loianer car to boot. Only complaint I would have is that the loaner I got could have used an interior clean up,vacume up the interior please.

The folks here are finest kind - friendly, efficient, honest. The work is always top notch, and finished when they say it will be. Early morning (7-9) weekday oil changes with no waiting, loaners, and they go the extra mile!

I had been taking my Subaru to the dealer for years for all my oil change needs and was paying far too much. I was fed up. After all it's only an oil change. I called Subaru Service and inquired about their oil change services and was surprised to find that the first visit would be free. Yep, FREE! Wow, who does anything for free anymore? I figured it was worth checking out. I showed up the very next day and only waited 20 mins for my car to be done. They were professional, affordable, knowledgeable, & fast! I'll be going to these guys from now on!!

I took my car there for the first time for a valve job and head gasket replacement. It was an expensive job, but there were two things I really appreciated. (1) They worked with me on the price and it was more than fair. (2) a few days later my radiator hose blew a leak. it 'could have' been related to the repair, so they took the initiative, paid to have my car towed from my home to the shop, diagnosed the problem and took care of me without any additional charge. They were honorable and keep me happy even with a loaner car. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for their honesty and integrity. Even the tow truck driver recommended them!!

Over priced, over charged. Friendly staff but that will cost you.

I will NEVER EVER in a million years bring my car to be repaired by these people! They are rude and dishonest. I am trying to sell my subaru......had a pre-sale inspection done at Smart Services (best subaru shop EVER) and everything checked out ok. A potential buyer wanted to get the car checked out and chose this shop. After I got the car back from them doing a "visual inspection" the car was making a horrible detached exhaust sound. Suburb Services denies touching anything, but I have the paperwork to prove that there was nothing wrong with the car going into the shop. Instead of owning their mistake and offering to fix whatever they did to it, they completely denied everything and proceded to make me feel like I am in the wrong and that my car is a big piece of junk. If you like being talked to like you're the biggest idiot in the whole world and have money to throw at the birds, bring your car to this shop.......but if you want to go to a place that is respectful and honest and has fair pricing steer clear from this horrible place.
