Had my subaru 90,000 service done there six months ago. Well, they didn't tighten the plugs and now it damaged one of the coils and some other items. Cost $650 to fix their mistake. So beware. I gave it one star so I could write a review.

Cathy Rutherford I have emailed you and called you in an attempt to see what happened. We never received any phone calls to let us know there was an issue.

This is an amazing place. They do great work and they never try to upsell. I took my car to a dealership because it wasn't running too well, and they quoted me $11,000 to fix so I took it to suburb service and it only ended up being $9,000 less

Money in your pocket with quality work Thanks Justin for trusting us here at Suburb Service

My first time having my car serviced here instead of at the dealership. The maintenance was done while I wait and super quickly. The women who work the front were friendly. They found me a coupon so my oil change was free! All in all a good first experience.

I hope we see you back again Rachel Candy Johns (owner)

I have had good experiences for the 5 plus years I have been a customer. They are quick. They have a generous loaner car system if repairs take more time. The front desk agents are knowledgeable and friendly. I will go back if I buy another Subaru in the future.

Wow these folks are amazing! I've only used them twice so far and they have saved me some Royal $$$, by informing me of extended warranty coverage unbeknown to me on my 2011 Outback. On my first visit while getting an oil change I requested a tire rotation and was prepared to pay for that, but my 4000 yearly mileage vehicle didn't require it and they had the kindness and integrity to pass the savings on to me. On my second visit I purchased a headlight bulb to be replaced. I decided not to pursue it since I learned that the front tire is usually removed at the shop to do this. My car was 6 yrs old at the time, and out of the base 3 yr warranty, but they not Subaru informed me that the bulb was still covered. I had fixed free of charge at the dealer. I'll definitely be back and will highly recommend. Finally a place you can feel at ease! :). I am very grateful you have a customer for life!

Thank you Antonio we are always here for our customers

Generally speaking, good service, friendly staff. I like that they give you loaner cars. Prices seem a bit high to me, however.

Thank you for your feedback Steve

Always the best. Detailed explanation of the work required, only whats required, and they do exactly what they say needs to be done. On time, per quoted price. I really can't ask for more in a mechanic, and this makes Suburb Service a rare, rare find.

Thanks Ken

I had front and back brakes done at Chucks Auto Repair in Maple Leaf neighborhood on Roosevelt in October 2017 because of squeaking. January 2018 they had to redo the front brakes because my steering wheel was shaking and I was under warranty. At that time, Chucks wanted to also charge several hundred dollars to repair "something else" that might be contributing to the brake problem. The explanation was vague and obscure, and Chucks admitted this additional repair may or may not correct the brakes - so I opted not to do it. Besides, what are the odds the brakes would go south again? So Chucks redid the front brakes (Jan 2018) but said they were no longer under warranty because I didn't opt for the additional repair! Hmmmm... April 2018 my steering wheel started shaking again. I went to Suburb who REPLACED my front brakes - versus just re-surfacing them - and for 30% less than Chucks. Until Suburb explained the brake resurface versus replacement process in detail, I did not know that Chucks was just resurfacing them. Whereas Suburb replaced them! Suburb gave me a loaner car for free and was done in 5 hours. I am so happy to find a place I can trust!!
