One of the many things the Pacific Northwest prides itself on is the lush Autumn weather. Nowhere else in the country will you find such vibrant colors, incredible views, and one of a kind, unique fall activities.
Home of the Washington apples, hop in your Subaru and take advantage of living in one of the most beautiful states in the US.
Here are our Top 5 Fun Fall Activities in the Pacific Northwest
Apples For Everyone - U Pick Farms
Washington Apples are distributed all across the US, but rarely do any of the recipients enjoying their crispness get to pick them and eat them fresh from the tree. With more than 175,000 acres of apple orchards, producing about 125 million apples a year, there are plenty of pick-your-own orchards throughout the entire state.
Pick as many as you want and then return to the farm to enjoy fresh cider, corn maze, and pumpkin carving. The best part is bringing the apples home with you to create every yummy fall concoction you can imagine.

Transport to Leavenworth Oktoberfest
That's right, you don't have to leave Washington to experience the German festival. Leavenworth is a small town in Fremont completely modeled after a Bavarian Village.
Not only are they the home to several beer gardens and authentic German restaurants - but they also take Oktoberfest to a whole new level. Celebrate with beers, brats, and schnitzel while touring the town, and maybe even venture out into some of the 700 miles of hiking trails outside the town.

If you have yet to check out these beautiful creatures, take advantage of the season and hop into your Subaru to a ferry that will bring you to your destination. You can stake out on your own, or you can join a tour which will point out other marine life as they also head south from Canada.

Epic Scenic Drives
Honestly, you can take your Subaru practically anywhere in Washington and see some of the most beautiful parts of the state at any time. But a few of our favorites are the stunning views on the Maple Pass Loop in the Northern Cascades, and the Discovery Park Loop which is elevated 140 feet.
With these views you can see incredible spreads of nature and wildlife during some of the most beautiful time of the year without even leaving your Subaru. If you're in Seattle and don't want to go far, you can simply take Highway 2 out of the city to instantly be immersed in the great outdoors.

Ohhhh pumpkin patch. Pile the family in the Subaru and head off to one of the many Pumpkin farms that surround our beautiful farmlands and pick your own pumpkins to carve and set on your porch as we get closer to the special day.
Most of the farms provide wagons or bring your own. Some of them have little train rides, cider and cookies for the kids, coffee or tea for mom and dad. Keep those family traditions alive.
