My 60K service was finished faster and cost less than quoted, which is always a plus! " I've been going to Suburb Service for two years now, and they've grown to be an extension of family. When I moved out here three years ago,it was a priority for me to find a dependable, honest, mechanic and shop. It took a year to find them, but I am glad I have.
The characteristics that give them their reputation and success include the fact that they will be thorough with you; they will show you what's wrong physically, as well as explain your options in a language you can understand. They prioritise repairs based on importance of safety and dependability.
They're not trying sell things down your throat, or falsely upsell unnecessary items like most dealerships. The fact that they are an only Subaru repair shop means they use the right parts, and they will do jobs thoroughly and properly, where most shops may overlook small Subaru specific details.
I have had both small work done as well as some major overhauls - i.e. clutch and head gasket, timing belt work. They give their customers a fair price, high quality work, and you can walk away with confidence that the job is done correctly the first time.
I recommend my Subaru owners to the shop and I would like to thank Candy, Debra, Neil and the rest of the crew for being so great and helpful."

"18 or so years and 3 Subarus later, and I'm still as loyal to them as I am the Subaru brand. I've lived all over Seattle and still make a point to always come here. Trust is a precious commodity when choosing a business to service your car, and they've earned mine repeatedly...and that's coming from a natural born PNW'er skeptic of all things! So it's high praise indeed!"

"The absolute best!!! Candy knows all things Subaru, I completely trust her and would never have any major service done anywhere else. I do go to the dealer for basic oil changes, but only because it is so close to my work. Suburb Service has always taken amazing care of my Subie's- they rock!!! 5 stars!!!"

"Hands down the best experience I've had with any auto repair shop. The customer service was excellent, and they are all very knowledgeable on all things Subaru. They even sent me short little video clips showing me and explaining to me what needed to be fixed, and why, so I could see the problem first hand before agreeing to have it replaced.
This gave me great comfort that they weren't trying to upsell me on any repairs just to make a quick buck like a lot of other mechanics might do. I've already recommended a few Subaru friends to them after explaining the great experience I had. As long as I own a Subie,all my maintenance will be done here!"

"I couldn't have been happier with this place. I took my car there after being told by the dealership that I needed a whole new transmission and rear brakes which would have set me back about $10,000. Candy and her guys took a closer look at things and figured out that it was only a component of the transmission that needed to be fixed.
She explained everything to me in easy to understand terms, let me make my own informed decisions, and repaired my car for $7000 less than what I was quoted at the dealership. They were timely and thoughtful - they threw in a complementary oil change on top of the repairs! Wonderful service, would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody!"
